What is it?DAB splitter. No need for any other DAB antenna, simple and easy to fit. Why do I fit it? Unfortunately, your conventional FM antenna will not pick up a DAB signal. So you have a few options. Replace the existing antenna (costly and time consuming to fit), glass mount (tricky to fit in cabs with multiple opening windows), magnet antenna (magnet stuck on roof, risk of failing off, and reception not great). What Kenwood have come up with: utilising the existing FM antenna, we split the signal and produce clear crisp sweet sounding DAB! Simply FM in DAB and FM out. How do I fit it?At point of fitting the radio, the splitter is connected between the existing antenna and the new radio. You will need to connect the blue wire on the splitter to the blue wire on the Kenwood loom. This solution should only take you around 2 mins to fit too!. Simple!
